Specular is an installation that took place as part of stage design for the concert "Monohromatika". It represents synchronized syncretic combine of music with visual performance.
The project represent a dichotomous pair of the two elements of the contemporary composition in Macedonia: folklore and modern, traditional and progressive musical expression. Through a syncretic blend of music with visual installation, the audio-visual performance "Monochromatic" uses modern music as basis for a the new synesthetic experience. The aim of the project is to intensify the artistic experience of the audience at the concerts of classical and contemporary music, by including the extra-musical elements in them. The inspiration for the project the musicians fount it in the modern approach to the artistic performance and syncretic forms and elements that are increasingly part of the classical concert performances.
